We’re honored to open the Dear Whitney Dinner Club with Heirloom Fire, a culinary collective known for its bold, elemental approach to cooking and storytelling through fire.
The evening begins with a curated cocktail reception, followed by a seated multi-course dinner and dessert, with complimentary beverages throughout.
Planned for an outdoor setting (weather dependent), the evening is designed to unfold at golden hour, transition through sunset, and continue beneath the stars... a true midsummer escape.
Rooted in live-fire techniques, Heirloom Fire creates experiences that feel visceral, intentional, and deeply connected to place. Their menus are crafted around seasonality, simplicity, and the transformative power of flame, where every dish feels both primal and refined.
Heirloom Fire’s approach goes far beyond the plate.
Cooking over open fire becomes a performance and a gathering point, inviting guests to slow down, engage their senses, and experience food in its most honest form.
The result is an unforgettable evening, immersive, communal, and entirely unique.
At the heart of Heirloom Fire is founder James Gop, whose evocative, fire-centered culinary storytelling has earned national recognition. James has been featured on Netflix, Food & Wine, and Martha Stewart, celebrated for his ability to merge technique, narrative, and experience into something truly special. His work is rooted in craftsmanship, curiosity, and a deep respect for ingredients, a philosophy that aligns seamlessly with the spirit of Dear Whitney.
